\nTake the Oki Kisen Line to the Oki Islands.
\nOne of the three Oki Kisen ferries or fast ferry Rainbow Jet will take you across the Sea of Japan and through the inner sea (a caldera created by volcanic eruptions 5 \u2013 6 million years ago).
\nThe ferry passes alongside Mt. Takuhi, the location of an impressive mountain shrine.
\nBe sure to listen when the captain sound\u2019s the ship\u2019s horn \u2013 this is in recognition of the man who started the Oki Kisen Line (shrine priest Mr. Matsuura) and to ask the god of the shrine to bless your sea voyage.
\nSoon after this you will reach your destination \u2013 Beppu Port, Nishinoshima Island.<\/p>\n
