One of the easiest ways to see the sights of the island is by taxi. It is not the cheapest option, but the friendly drivers will give you lots of useful information about the island and take you from place to place. Please note that it is only offered in Japanese.
There are only a few taxis on the island, so make sure you book in advance if you know where you want to go.
