This campground is away from the town, so you can enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Relax at this pebble-stone beach, swim in the summer months and enjoy meeting other campers from around Japan. There are no shops nearby, so make sure you purchase food and drink at Beppu Port before coming to the campsite.
There is no mobile phone reception in this area but free town Wi-Fi is available. There is a pay phone available too.
Nonetheless drop by the Nishinoshima Tourism Association tourist information center at the Beppu Port ferry terminal for some guide on staying here such as how and where to dispose rubbish etc.
N.B. You cannot camp anywhere along the Kuniga Coast as this is protected national park land.
