Yurahime Shrine 由良比女神社

This was once one of the highest ranked shrines in Shimane (and Japan). It is dedicated to the deity of fishing and is a popular spot for both locals and tourists. Squid come into the nearby bay from autumn – winter every year. Maybe you can catch a squid when you visit the shrine?
