If you want to explore Nishinoshima Island but do not have access to a vehicle, join one of the following tours.
Most information will be in Japanese, but these tours are an easy way to get around the island and see some of the main attractions.
We recommend taking the sightseeing boat to see the amazing rocky coastline up close! You might even be able to enter some of the sea caves…
Kuniga Coast Sightseeing Boat 国賀めぐり定期観光船
This is the best way to get up close to the amazing rock formations along the coast! An experienced captain will take you and other tour participants through the canal, along the bottom of cliffs, through caves and rock arches (sea conditions permitting) to let you experience the power of nature, the power of this geopark!

With this course you can opt to walk from Matengai Cliff to Kuniga Beach, then catch the bus to Uragō Port．For the departure time from Kuniga Beach, please check with the driver when you get off at Matengai Cliff. Please also be aware that you will need to walk at a brisk pace to catch the bus.

One of the easiest ways to see the sights of the island is by taxi. It is not the cheapest option, but the friendly drivers will give you lots of useful information about the island (in Japanese) and take you from place to place.

Night Cruising ナイトクルージング
Sit back and relax on this night cruise with the lovely crew from Tsurumaru. Look up at the stars and down into the dark sea…maybe you will be able to see luminous plankton or jellyfish!
